The XIV International AIDS Conference Turns To Vespa For Transport

With the signature of this agreement, Vespa becomes one of the official transport providers of the Conference.

During the signing of the agreement, 20 Vespa Solidaria - scooters of limited edition - were presented to the Conference. These scooters will soon become available in the market.

One of the Vespa Solidaria was personalized with the signature of local celebrities including, model Verónica Blume, actor Adriŕ Collado, singer Gerard Quintana and Dragons’ player, Mariano Angoy. This scooter will be auctioned and the proceeds donated to the fight against AIDS.

Fernando Burgos, General Director of Piaggio Spain, expressed his pleasure for having made real the spirit of freedom and solidarity that Vespa was created with 50 years ago.

  • Volunteers of the Conference will use the first models of the Solidarity Vespa (Vespa Solidaria) to speed up their work at the conference
  • Piaggio will donate to the Conference part of its proceeds obtained from the sale of these Vespa Solidaria.
  • Vespa supports the Conference because it is a solidarity brand and friend and treats people as equals.
